REACH is a quiet reminder to stay close to the handful of people who matter. If something is not behaving, start here.
Nothing here covering it? Email aikanamgmt@gmail.com and describe what you expected and what happened instead. Replies usually take a day or two.
Work through these in order — the first two cover almost every case.
Only when someone has actually drifted past the rhythm you set for them. There are no daily digests, no streaks, and nothing to keep up with.
If several people come due on the same day, REACH spaces the reminders out rather than delivering them all at once.
Yes. Decline the permission, or turn reminders off later, and everything else works as normal — the home screen still shows who to reach whenever you open it.
That is deliberate, and it is the one thing worth understanding about REACH.
Tapping Call only opens your phone's dialer. REACH cannot see whether a call actually happened — you might have hung up, or they might not have answered — so it never assumes one did.
The count moves when you confirm it. After you come back to REACH you will be asked whether you connected; choose Yes and the clock resets. Choose Not yet and nothing changes.
Yes. Open that person and log the connection directly — you can set the date, so a conversation from last week lands in the right place.
Open the person, edit them, and change how often. The next reminder is rescheduled from their last confirmed connection, not from today.
Settings → Your data → Export my data. You get everything — people, connections, notes and preferences — as JSON on your clipboard.
Settings → Delete account. It removes the account itself along with every person, connection and note, immediately and permanently.
There is no recovery window and no backup to restore from, so export first if you want to keep a copy.
Open the confirmation email on the iPhone that has REACH installed and tap the link — it reopens the app and signs you in. Links opened on a computer cannot reach the app.
If the link has expired, sign up again with the same address to get a fresh one.
No. REACH has no access to your call history or your messages and does not ask for any. If you add someone from Contacts it receives only the entry you picked, at the moment you pick it — your address book is never uploaded.
